My name is Ian. I'm a artist who likes to tell stories about growing up and living in West Vancouver. I currently reside in Dundarave with my wife Lisa, my son Dylan, daughter Jamie, and my cat Tally.

I love sketching and writing stories about everyday life here on the North Shore. This includes the big stuff like the Lions Gate Bridge and the sea wall, but it also includes the subtler stuff that people outside of North and West Vancouver might not recognize the significance of. My sketches are an exploration of our 'shared sense of place' -  celebrating the things that make our community such a special place in which to work and live. I strive to make my images playful, nostalgic, lively and full of joy.
